AV-Performance with Franck Vigroux

Thirst is a audiovisual performance that explores the boundaries between installation and live performance by means of projections on multiple surfaces that evoke a three-dimensional perception in the viewer. Thirst explores and questions the visual lexicon of road movies and Americanized iconography and employs a vividly colored but image-saturated aesthetic. The performance installation questions the deeply human desire for freedom and unlimitedness in a world of limited resources and raw materials. Images created with A.I. outline a society in which ancient symbols of rebellion and adventure have lost their relevance.
